Kids Joyful at Terre Haute V.B.S.

Have you ever heard the joyful voices of children echo throughout an empty room. It is a pleasure to hear, especially when you know they are happy and learning good things to help them throughout life. Above, the Bible classes of 6 and 7 yr. olds are on their way from their new classroom to put dirt in their cups so they can plant seeds of the spirit, like joy, love, and peace. They stopped to say "JOY" in unison for a picture before proceeding on to the playground. Terre Haute Methodist Church has sixty children gathering each morning this week for Bible School with the theme "The Son Harvest County Fair". With skits, games, songs, crafts, and Bible stories, the kids are really growing in the spirit as they learn to plant love, joy, peace, patience, and kindness. Classes are being held from 9 to 11:30 a.m. using Sunday School rooms in the new building, the basement and sanctuary of the church and parsonage, and the big yard across from the church for recreation.
