Patriotic Flags Appreciated
Dear Editor:
Isn't it great to have these flags flying on Broadway and Main Street every holiday?
Our town has some very faithful people that see to it those flags are flying on the special occasions.
When I come up town and see those beautiful flags waving in the breeze, I am thrilled at the sight and for the patriotism our community is showing.

Echoes: We Missed Our Classmates
Dear Editor:
You said it so nicely, "Where Are Our Classmates?"
This is my third time to attend a school reunion and I so wanted to see more of the classes around my 1968 class.
I didn't travel as far as some of the past students did, but I made the effort to attend and enjoyed everyone once again.
How the memories flooded back, the good and the sad; but we all need to remember our past, it's good for the soul.
For those who see each other so often, you should think of us, who chose another path and want to come home to the pleasant memories of yesteryear.
Next time (in 2006), come to the reunion. It will bring a smile to your face, a glow to your heart and memories to cherish.
I wanted to revist my first home, friends, and memories. We never know when God will call us home.
Fond Love & Memories, Pamela (Pendry) McDaniel
Enjoy Old Friends
Dear Editor:
We were at the Stronghurst High School reunion Saturday evening. They planned a very nice affair. I always feel the ones who have lived away and moved back really appreciate old friends. I graduated in "48 and we're living near St. Louis after being in New Jersey a long time. I really enjoy reading the local paper.
