Henderson County Little Misses

The Henderson County Fair Queen Pageant is Sunday, July 6th, 2003, at 7:00 p.m. in the SHS gym.

Along with the seven queen candidates, there are also seventeen little misses. We would like you to know who they are and a little something about each one.

Samantha Arnold is the daughter of Brad and Stacie Arnold of Media. She has a brother Jonathan, a dog Duke, and lots of cats. She's 11 and will be in the 6th grade. She's on the honor roll, Girl Scouts, basketball and track. She spends the summer getting ready for the fair to show her 4-H steers.

Ashleigh Brown is the daughter of Joe and Cindy Kane of Little York. She has a brother William, a dog Axl. She's 6 and will be in the first grade at Yorkwood. She attends St. Patrick's Church in Raritan. She enjoys taking care of her bucket calf.

Hannah Brueck is the daughter of Gary and Debbie Brueck of Stronghurst. She has two brothers and a dog. She's 9 and will be in the fourth grade. Her favorite color is blue, favorite band is the Dixie Chicks, and favorite place to eat is the Great Wall.

Shauna Crawford is the daughter of Steve and Laura Crawford of Stronghurst. She has a sister Shelby. She's 9 and will be in the fourth grade. She likes to sign, dance, read, and ride her bike. This summer, she will go to Church Camp and Girl Scout Camp.

Shelby Crawford is the daughter of Steve and Laura Crawford of Stronghurst. She has a sister Shauna. She's 11 and will be in the sixth grade. She's on the honor roll, Girl Scouts, basketball, and enjoys playing the piano. This summer, she attended College for Kids.

Alexis Foster is the daughter of David and Kelli Vancil of Little York. She's 10 and will be in the fifth grade. She attends Cheryl's School of Dance in Burlington, IA. Her favorite activities are dancing and reading.

Coco Inghram is the daughter of Mrs. Kim Powell-Inghram and Mr. Steve Inghram of Media. She has two brothers, Travis and Thye, and a guinea-pig, Cramer. She's 11 and will be a sixth grader. She's on the honor roll, Girl Scouts, bowling, softball, and basketball team. She loves the computer.

Savannah Jackson is the daughter of Nikki Jackson of Lomax. She has a new sister Kennedy. She's 7 and will be in the second grade at Dallas City. She enjoys cheerleading, singing, and dancing. Her favorite singer is Britney Spears.

Brooklyn Knapp is the daughter of Richard and Ronda Knapp of Raritan. She has a sister, Mackenzie and loves her cat Kiki. She's 6 and will be a first grader. She loved learning how to read, and playing in her nice big pool.

Marissa Lange is the daughter of Todd Lange and Diana Lange of Stronghurst. She has a sister Mia. She's 7 and will be a second grader. She likes softball, jump rope, dancing, and arts and crafts. She loves all animals, favorite color is pink, and plays with stuffed animals.

Mia Lange is the daughter of Todd and Diana Lange of Stronghurst. She has a sister Marissa. She's 5 and will start kindergarten. She loves to play with dolls, games, puzzles, and play outside with friends. She likes play-dough and arts and crafts.

Montana Pence is the daughter of Treasa Carnes Pence of Stronghurst and Edward Pence of La Harpe. She has a brother Travis. She's 8 and will be in the third grade. She is active in Brownies and in church. She also does bowling and takes tumbling.

Ali Postle is the daughter of Scott and Tami Postle of Stronghurst. She has a brother Drew. She's 9 and will be a fourth grader. She enjoys basketball, softball, and swimming. She loves music and spending time with family and friends.

Andrea Scott is the daughter of Tony and Jodi Scott of Media. She has a sister, a hamster, a guinea-pig, a dog, and three fish. She's 7 and will be a second grader. She likes softball, cheerleading, baton, and tumbling. She also takes piano lessons.

Kaitlin Sparrow is the daughter of Dawn Sparrow of West Burlington, IA and Byron Sparrow of Lomax. She's 11 and will be in the sixth grade. She enjoys softball, basketball, honor roll, bowling, Girl Scouts, chorus, and band with the flute. She is also a 4-H member.

Paige Spiker is the daughter of Jason and Wendy Spiker of Stronghurst. She has a dog named Molly. She's 11 and will be in the sixth grade. She loves Girl Scouts, softball, basketball, swimming, and computers.

Mackenzie Wagner-Allen is the daughter of Richard and Ronda Knapp of Raritan. She has a sister Brooklyn. She's 10 and will be in the fifth grade. She loves dancing, playing with friends, teaching her sister tricks and swimming in her nice big pool.
