The Southern Belles avenged an earlier loss to the Nauvoo-Colusa Vikings Monday evening by defeating the Vikings by the score of 51 to 45. The Belles were down by 7 points at the beginning of the 4th quarter but outscored the Vikings 18 points to 5 points in the final 8 minutes to take the win.
The Belles were led in scoring by Kim Waddell with 19 points and 4 assists. Annie Pogue added 9 points. Brandy Blender had 8 points and 6 rebounds while Darci Renken contributed 6 points and 4 steals. The Vikings were led in scoring by Jacki Ferrill with 14 points and Brooke Newton with 16. Belles will host Alexis for their next contest on Thursday, December 4.

The Junior Varsity Belles also defeated the Lady Vikings by the score of 39 to 24. The JV Belles were led in scoring by Hillary Brooks with 11 points and Kayla Coffey with 10 points.
