Terre Haute Fry Reports Good Turn-Out

Around 365 people came to Terre Haute Thursday, August 7th to enjoy the 79th Annual Terre Haute United Methodist Fish Fry. It was held in the church's new Fellowship Hall.

Kathleen Elston made and donated a quilt to be raffled. Chances were sold with proceeds going to the Building Fund.

Pastor Steven Blair drew the name of Susan Vogel as the winner of the quilt.

Many of the church family brought quilts of their own to be displayed on the walls of the fellowship hall. They also have in their foyer pictures of the old Terre Haute High School graduates which many enjoyed.

The Terre Haute Church expressed appreciation to the Dallas City Fryers for frying the fish, for everyone who came to the fry or fixed food or worked to make their 79th fry such a great success.
