Mary Gerling has found that working at Oak Lane Nursing and Rehab is a very rewarding job. After working for several years as a preschool teacher and providing in-home day care, she decided she was interested in learning more about health care for the elderly and began working at Oak Lane.
Mary lived in Ohio until she was 12 years old. After graduating from high school in Deltona, Florida, she met her husband (originally from Burlington, Iowa) who was with the Army at Ft. Benning, Georgia.
When he received his discharge they moved to Stronghurst. They have three children, and one "on the way". Mary's hobbies are drawing and fishing.
