Lomax Hears Of New Contact for Street Light Outage

President Pro-Tem Jack Todd of the Village of Lomax called the regular March board meeting to order at 7:00 P.M. March 6, 2003.

Todd reported of a new contact person for Illinois Power, Connie Hughes, at 217-475-8401. To report street lights that are out call 800-755-5000.

Answering roll at the Tuesday evening meeting were Leslie Roberts (P), James Rosenboom (P), Jack Todd (P), Ron VanNiewaal (P), Rick Kienlen (P), Rebecca Moyers (P), and Kim Peters (P).

In General Business:

• Kienlen moved to approve Sheriff's contract as presented with no changes from the previous year; seconded by VanNiewaal; all ayes.
• Carolyn Watkins discussed the Lomax for Kids Summer Program. There will be a few changes this year. Lunch will be provided.
• Hawley Mowing submitted a proposal to mow the Village Park for $50 per mowing and $30 per mowing for the Ball Park. VanNiewaal moved to accept, seconded by Kienlen; all ayes.
• Discussed the street sign projec, more action will be taken next month.
• The Board discussed current salaries and action was tabled until the next month.
