On Sunday, November 24, at 10:30 a.m., the Raritan Reformed and the Bethel Lutheran Church of Stronghurst will worship together at the Bethel Church with a service featuring the music of the Ecumenical Singers, under the direction of Leo Ramers. The entire group is pictured above as they presented music on their tour of New York last year, where they sang at Old St. Patrick's Cathedral, St. John the Divine Cathedral, and at the Statue of Liberty.
The mission of the group is to promote ecumenism in fellowship and song while sharing the oneness we all celebrate in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The group is comprised of 35 high school and college students from our area.
The group is presenting concerts and worship services in churches in our area, raising funds for their July 2003 Tour of Pearl Harbor and Honolulu. The service on the 24th of November is for both of the congregations and any others in our area who would like to attend.
