Did you miss the internet over the weekend? I'm not sure how long it was actually down but it had been 18 hours when I talked to the internet man checking the system at the Quill.
He said when the internet is down people should go to the hcil homepage, which they can do even though they cannot get anywhere else, and they will have messages posted as to the problem.
We miss Rita Ferguson at the post office. She had surgery a few weeks ago and has not yet returned to work. We hope she'll be back soon.
The Village of Stronghurst employees have put the barrels on Broadway Street and they are beginning to be very pretty as each business plants colorful flowers.
Bill and Susan Towns have moved to Stronghurst from Decatur. They bought the former Russell White's home.
