On Thursday, April 25, Industry came to Southern to play when their field was not playable because of rain, which is an advantage of Southern's new surface which allowed the game to be played in Stronghurst.
Southern was designated the visitors for the game which allowed Industry to jump out in the lead when they scored in the bottom of the second. However, Southern stormed back in the top of the third scoring five runs highlighted by Joshua Ragar's third homerun of the season.
Matthew McIntire led off the inning with a single and then Ragar homered for a score of 2-1. Then Christopher Wisslead, Brandon Rothzen, Chris Wilson, and Mike Lenahan each scored for a 5-1 Southern lead.

Matt scored in the top of the first on an Industry error, and then stroked his second home run of the season in the top of the fifth.
