The Henderson County Post #765 Junior Legion baseball team began their summer season by splitting a double header with the Monmouth Gold team in Monmouth on 6/10/02.
Henderson County won the first game 2-0 and lost the second 5-4.
They went on to lose their next three games to Rock Island, Galesburg and Farmington, but came back with a big win against Sherrard at Sherrard on 6/20/02.
Each player crossed the plate for a final score of 13-7.
