Teachers, Coaches, and Elementary Principal Hired;
Accepts Resignations Of Hart and Crisco at Union

The Board of Education of Union Community Unit School District #115, Henderson County, met at 6:00 p.m. on June 5, 2002, in the Unit Office, Biggsville. All members of the Board were present.

It was moved by Sams, seconded by Weber, and carried by unanimous roll call vote, that the Board enter into Closed Session at 6:05 p.m. for discussion of resignations, employment, and compensation for the Union Elementary Principal.

It was moved by Parsons, seconded by Reaves, and carried by unanimous call vote, that the Board return to Open Session at 10:00 p.m.

It was moved by Weber, seconded by Allaman, and carried by unanimous roll call vote, that the Board accept the resignations of Rebecca Hart, effective at the end of the 2001/2002 school year.

Further moved, that the Board accept the resignation of Brad Crisco from all duties at Union #115, effective at the end of the 2001/2002 school year.

It was moved by Parsons, seconded by Miller, and carried by unanimous roll call vote, that the Board employ Anthony Ryan as Union Elementary Principal for the 2002-2003 school year at a salary of $52,000 plus benefits.

It was moved by Weber, seconded by Miller, and carried by unanimous roll call vote, that the Board employ the following teachers and coaches for the 2002-2003 school year:

Patrick Lynch- Elementary Physical Education and Head Football Coach
Lisa Stevenson- Elementary Teacher
Carrie Yerkey- Head Volleyball Coach
Jilan Lusher- Assistant Volleyball Coach

June Board Date And Public Hearing Changed to June 20

It was moved at the June 5th board meeting of Union School Board, District #115 by Weber, and seconded by Miller, and carried by a unanimous roll call vote, that the date for the second June Board meeting and the two-scheduled public hearings be changed from June 19, 2002 to June 20, 2002.

It was moved by Allaman, seconded by Miller, and carried by unanimous roll call vote, that the Board adjourn an 10:32 p.m. until June 20, 2002 at 7:00 p.m.
