Eve Service at the Presbyterian Church of Stronghurst provided the setting
for the Confirmation and the Reaffirmation of Baptismal Vows, for Alex Work,

Surrounded by family, friends and members of the parish, these young men, entered into Covenant with the Presbyterian Community of Faith. Their Vows were received by the Parish Minister, the Rev. Dr. John Deal, and Mr. Donald Fry, Clerk of the Session.
They along with their parents, assisted in the distribution of Holy Communion to the assembled congregation. The Confirmation was the conclusion of their long time of study, prayer and discernment.
"The congregation continues in prayer and extends their best wishes to these exceptional young men and their families," the Rev. Deal said.
Alex is the son of David and Fran Work, rural Gladstone, Nathan is the son of Rich Lutz and the late Rosemary Isaacson Lutz, Biggsville and John is the son of Jim and Beth Weber of Biggsville.
