On Wednesday, January 2nd, the Rebels traveled to Sherrard to take on the Tigers.
Once again, the Rebels started sluggish and were on the short end of the score after one quarter 17-8, and at half time 29-21. The third quarter saw the Rebels close within one point, but fall back again for a 39-34 deficit. In the fourth quarter, the Rebs came out and turned up the pressure. Outscoring Sherrard 23-8 led to a 57-47 victory for Southern.
Chris Wisslead scored 19 points, with Quinn Leath 14, Cullen Goodman 9, Nick Morris 6, Josh Ragar 5, and Dan Morrison 4. Dan Morrison topped the team with 8 assists, while Chris Wisslead had 9 rebounds and 4 steals.
The Rebels next games will be at Abingdon on January 11 and at Roseville on January 15th.
