Rebels Win Over Union Yanks

On December 13th the Union Yankees came to the Southern gym and lost by the score of 87-34.

The Rebels jumped out to a 10-0 lead and never looked back.

The Yankees played hard for 32 minutes and hustled all over the floor but the Rebels offense and defense were too much.

This put the Rebel record at 4-0.

All the Rebels played and contributed in the victory, James Dye dished out 5 assists as he was able to find the open man.

Nathan Corzatt led a balanced rebounding attack with 4 and Silas Pogue received the best floor burn this year with his dive and hustle in getting a loose ball at half court.

All the Rebels played hard and focused on the game.

The Rebels play in the Roseville Tourny this week and on December 26, 27, and 28 they play at the Western Illinois University Tournament.

The Rebels play December 26 at 2:30 p.m. vs. Warsaw. Over the holidays, come out and watch the Rebels in action.
