Village of Lomax Board Meeting

The Board of Trustees of the Village of Lomax met in regular session on Tuesday, November 5, 2002, at the Lomax Ambulance Office.

President Thompson was ill so Mayor Pro Tem, Jack Todd, called meeting to order at 7:10 p.m. and the Clerk gave roll call.

Roll: Robert Thompson (A), Leslie Roberts (P), James Rosenboom (P), Jack Todd (P), Ron Van Niewaal (A), Rick Kienlen (P), Rebecca Moyers (P), and Kim Todd (P).

The October Minutes, Treasurers Report, and the bills were approved.

Sheriff's Report: No report was given.

General Business:

Peters reported on Welcome" signs. She presented the layout for the final draft of the signs. The Board directed her to get prices for the poles and other hardware necessary to erect the signs.

Todd discussed materials received from Peopping, Stone, Bach & Assoc., regarding street mapping project. He reported that the project was moving along and should be accomplished in the spring.

He also reported that the Post Office had given the necessary permission for PBSA to receive addresses for the mapping process.

The Board reviewed the grant proposal submitted by WIRC regarding the water project. Water sampling procedures were discussed.

The Board moved to adjourn.
