This lady has been on in the same building on Main Street for the past 35 years. Pat Powelson worked for Poulter's Flower Shop for several years before Pat and her sister, Delorus Woodside, purchased the business. A few years ago Pat and Delorus opened another "My Sisters Place" in Blandinsville. Delorus runs that business while Pat and her daughter Nan takes care of this one.
Pat and her husband Gale are parents of Nan Chapman, Gayle Vincent and Brad Powelson. They have 3 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Gale and Pat have been married for 50 years and enjoy getting away for the weekend. Pat likes to read and spend time with her family. She attends the La Harpe Methodist Church.
