On Saturday, April 13th, the Belles went to Rushville for the Rushville Invitational.
Paige Taylor took the mound and had another excellent outing.
It was scoreless until the sixth inning, 2 of their 4 hits together for the game and push 2 runs across to defeat the Belles 2-0.
This was a very good game defensively for the Belles also. Both teams had runners in scoring position but it was Rushville who got the timely hit when they needed it.

On Saturday afternoon the Belles met up with conference foe, Industry/Southeastern. In this game the Belles offense woke up and plated five runs to Industry 0. Rachel Manning took the mound for the second time this year and got her first win.

On Monday, April 15, the Belles traveled to Avon to face another conference opponent in BPC-Avon. Mindy Morrison took the mound and was able to hold the Trojan offense to just 2 hits.
Once again the Belles were able to put the ball in play scoring six runs enroute to a 6-1 conference win.

In the second game the Belles offense fell off slightly and the home team was able to push a run across in the bottom of the fifth to defeat the Belles 3-2.
Paige Taylor once again did an outstanding job keeping her team in the game, but the offense couldn't quite score enough runs to get the job done.

On 4-16 the Belles once again hit the road for a tough game with Williamsfield. As always this turns into a battle of pitching and Rachel Manning pitched the Belles to a hard fought 3-1 victory.

On 4-17 the Belles headed for Industry to play two 5 inning conference games. In the first game the Belles fell behind early 2-0 but was able to get a run in the third and three in the fourth to preserve a 4-2 conference win. Mindy Morrison moved her record to 4-0 on the season.

In game 2 it turned into a slugfest with the Belles scoring the first 6 runs. In the bottom of the third Industry came storming back and scored six runs themselves. After that it was a seesaw battle each inning. Industry drove in the winning run in the bottom of the fifth to make the score 9-8.

On Thursday 4-18, the Belles traveled to Warren. The winds were howling and made it very hard on both teams. Rachel Manning, once again, took the mound in less than desirable conditions. She threw a one hit, 13 strikeout performance in very bad conditions. The Belles were very productive on offense as well scoring 30 runs on 13 hits.
