Darcie Lynn
Palmer was born and raised in La Harpe and is a Junior at La Harpe High School.
She is the daughter of Cathy and Eric Palmer and the grandaughter of Boyd
and Joy Palmer and Norma Lair.
She also has a brother and sister, Brad Richardson and Amy Brown. Brad's wife is Jeni and their children are Carissa and Brock. Amy is married to Brian Brown and they have a daughter Bailey Lynn. Darcie really enjoys her family and she loves to baby sit and help people.
Among her many interests at school, Darcie is active in basketball, receiving the "most team spirit" award, cheerleading, chorus, all district and jazz choir, and in Art she received a 1st on her painting at the Bi-County Art Show.
Darcie is also very active in the La Harpe Christian Church where she is leader of the children's choir, Praise Team Leader, Minister Team Member, and also is stats keeper for the Jr. High Basket ball team at the Christian Church, as well as taking part in Mission Trips to Mexico.
Recently Darcie Palmer joined the La Harpe City Council as a student alderman and attends City Council meetings every 2nd and 4th Monday of each month, where she is a member of four committees and also travels with Mayor Kenny Brown to events.
Darcie Palmer has many interests to fulfill her life and takes pride in striving to get everything done on time which is a priority in all she does.
