The Seder

The Rev. John Barry Deal and Pastor Jim Olsen presented the "Seder Meal" and instructions and prayers during Bethel Lutheran-Stronghurst and Media Presbyterian and Raritan Reformed Church joint services. They wore typical Jewish scarves and caps, although ties and dress shirts were not of Jesus's day. The festival and meal lasted nearly two hours. Young boys, Eric Hilligoss and Drew Postle acted as young Jewish boys with several questions of why things are done which the pastors addressed. The sin was bitter herbs (parsley dipped in salt water) and were indeed bitter.
